Northwest Florida is steeped in history in small southern towns. Discover our roots of civil war skirmishes and battles marked with historic markers from beaches to the Florida state line. Gorgeous antebellum homes, pre-civil war churches, and red brick structures have many stories to tell. For example, historic buildings in this region are rare sites such as tobacco barns.
